Welcome to Racomitrium Gundogs, a small non-commercial family kennels in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, run by Paul and Jo Gripton.

We offer gundog training whether for the pet gundog, shooting field or to field trial standards. 1:2:1, group lessons, & workshops. We also offer obedience training, puppy training & problem solving for all gundogs. Residential training is also available.

We specialise in spaniel breeds, so give your spaniel the right start in life and contact us to help keep your spaniel engaged with you, hunting close whilst still fulfilling their needs, using their natural ability and making you their whole world & not the environment which they are in. If you have a 'Pet Gundog' regardless of whether you are involved in fieldsports & enjoy learning a new skill, train your dog to work, create a greater bond, reduce unwanted behaviour at home, & have a responsive dog, to both recall and loose lead walking, then let us help you enjoy them to the full. All our training is delivered in a professional, warm, supportive and encouraging manner. If you are a novice or newcomer to the addictive world of spaniels you will not be dissapointed with the service you receive.

We breed our own line of Kennel Club registered, health and DNA tested English Springer Spaniels.

We occasionally have puppies, part and fully trained dogs for sale. We also offer a gundog finder service.
 
We are fortunate to have a 30 acre training ground near Ramsey, Cambridgeshire (available to hire, maximum groups of 6), with wild birds, cover crop, sorghum, maize, legume mix, grasses, ditches, lake (with easy entry), river, retrieving lanes, jumping pen's & two 1/3 acre secure training pen's (available to hire) and access to woodland.
